Laptop become slow over time?
Has your laptop become slow over time, is it not as fast as it used to be when you first got it?
Then chances are the problem has occurred because your computer hard drive has become fragmented and can no longer open files and programs as fast as it used to be able to, it’s very easy to speed up your laptop once again all you need to do is “defrag” the hard drive, this is relatively easy as Windows has a tool built into it for this problem.
If you are running a Windows Operating System
- Click the Start-Menu (Left bottom corner)
- Go to “All Programs”
- From “All Programs” find the folder named “Accessories”
- From Accessories, select the sub-directory named “System Tools”
- Click the “Disk Defragmenter” program
The disk defragmenter program should now be open, depending on your version of operating system you should be able to simply click “Defragment Now” or something along those lines, if you have any trouble doing this them visit “How to Defrag your Computer” where you can find detailed instructions on how to defrag your computer.
