How to wipe laptop history
If you want to clean your laptops browsing history so no one can find out what sites you have been going on there are multiple ways to do this, the easiest is to simply download the free tool called CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) this will allow you to wipe the entire history regardless of what browser you use, and temporary files will be gone.
Cleaning the history is easy, most Web Browsers have an inbuilt utility allowing for easy removal, but sometimes you need it to go the extra mile, if so follow the instructions below to clear your Laptops Browsing History and Tempoary Files.
Step 1.
Download CCleaner by Clicking Here once downloaded, follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.
Step 2.
Now CCleaner is installed it should appear in your Start Menu, go to Start -> All Programs -> CCleaner. The program should now be running, if you cannot find the shortcut in your Start Menu check your desktop for a newly created “CCleaner” icon.
Step 3.
Click “Run Cleaner” on the right hand side of the program, this will start wiping your browser history by default, all history and tempoary files will be gone and your privacy will be maintained. Note: If CCleaner asks for Internet Explorer to be closed, close it and then press try again.
Although this is a free way to ensure privacy, your history can be recovered using specialist programs that are available for purchase generally on the Internet, if you want to avoid this I would recommend that you purchase a commercial software that can remove your history securely and privately preventing recovery of the files, this is highly recommended if you want to remain private.
