Question by Freak B: Why Does My Laptop Slow Down When I Unplug It?
I have an acer aspire one. I have the power settings on minimal power management when I go to control panel and power control in windows.
What I notice is that when I have the power cord is plugged in the computer loads internet pages really fast. When I unplug the power cord the computer slows down loading pages to a snail like pace. What is wrong?

your laptop will under-clock your processor (slow it down) to save your battery life… so that is why your laptop slows down when its unplugged
