Question by solidsnakegriffin: Why does my laptop have a horizontal line across the screen?
I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 and recently a thin white/grey line appears across the entire screen horizontally (the line is actually two very thin lines). The line is about two inches from the bottom of the screen.

It appears immediately on start-up and won’t go away. Could this be a driver, software or hardware problem? Any advice on how to correct this would be greatly appreciated. I don’t think it’s the screen itself, because it’s in pretty good shape.

Its hardware, try twitching the screen, its a connection problem, call HP.
