I have a laptop (A) with a broken display. Is it possible to connect that laptop to another laptop(B) so that I can use laptop(B) as a temporary monitor for laptop(A) ?

Yes, if (B) have a serial monitor out connector. You would just need a cable to extend to the serial monitor in on (A). Also, if there’s a yellow RCA video out plug, you could use a RCA cable to connect it to a television.

yeah what he said
I’m not sure about what Dylan said, but if that works, go for it. I am sure, however, that you can connect it to a desktop monitor, or even an LCD TV for short term use.
Most laptops have a VGA port so you can connect a standard computer monitor. Your best bet is to get a computer monitor and plug it into that VGA port. Search Google for “vga port” if you want to see a picture of what it looks like. You might also have an S-Video out which would allow you to connect your laptop to a television. There are other options (like remote desktops), but if your monitor is already dead it would be impossible to set those up. So your best bet is to find the VGA port and a monitor.
