Chinese-based Carapelli Computers Limited has released what it claims is the world’s cheapest netbook running Windows XP.

The same company released the world’s smallest and cheapest laptop NPX-9000 at 9 (AED 473) for minimum orders of 100 units in August last year.

For me, I won’t go below a 10″ screen. I don’t have a docking system. So I’d hate to be surfing the web and constantly adjusting the zoom. 10″ is the minimum for me. With that requirement, I’m looking at the Asus EEE 1000HE Netbook. Reasonably priced below $400 with pretty good processing speed (1.6Ghz).
