Question by Billy: I want to replace the motherboard in my Gateway M465 E model laptop. It is expensive to have major stores repl
It costs about half of what I paid for, which is 649.00 to have my laptop repaired by big stores such as CompUSA or BestBuy. I want to ave it done right for cheap. Or I could learn to do it myself. What should I do to have this repair done w/o paying the extensive damae repair charges that Gateway proclaim as incidental not accidental because of wear and tear. The main problem is, the socket for the power adapter to wall outlet is no longer working and the laptop part that has teeth which connect to the battery hhas been broken off and remains broken off into the battery inserts for battery connection. Please help and thhanks!
