I have my wireless router connected properly, but only my desktop is connected to the internet. I cannot receive a wireless signal on my xbox or laptop.

your router is probably set NOT to broadcast wireless…. double check the setting and if you need help get in touch via IM “nuno_mjc@yahoo.com” in the next 10minutes…
