They are both PC’s, I run XP professional with Microsoft Office 2003 on my PC and the Laptop comes preinstalled with Microsoft Office Editions 2003 Trial.
I want to put all of my information from my PC on the Laptop and get rid of the PC.

Go buy a memory stick and save your files from your PC there. Then you can download them to your laptop.
