Money is a definite factor here – but I need another computer immediately. I am under the impression that MAC is the way to go with my educational design needs and also since I run Adobe CS2 – so need memory. Is a MAC laptop an option or is it best to do the desktop, is there a better way to go there for design purposes or are they just as good as one another? Is there any reason other than cost to not go with the MAC and just stick with another PC desktop or a PC laptop? Any spec recommendations I need to keep in mind when shopping?

If ur in a tight budget like all college students like me, then dont go for a mac! they are too freaking expensive. Even in the MAC II days they were to expensive. Go with a toshiba or sony
