What’s with this hard disk problem on my laptop?

Question by izrobertson: What’s with this hard disk problem on my laptop?
I turned on my laptop this morning and this showed up on a black screen:

“Primary hard disk drive 0 not found. No bootable devices–strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility.”

What happened? The laptop worked fine last night, although it was bit slow.

What can I do?
