I have a computer that has a virus and I connect it to the internet. I bought a new laptop and also wanted to connect it but didn’t want to infect it.
First question.
If I remove the computer that has a virus/spyware from the internet connection then I connect my laptop on the internet connection, will my laptop still be infected with the virus and spyware?
Second question.
How about if I connect them together by LAN or wireless? WIll the virus tranfer if I use LAN? Will it transfer if I use wireless?

1) Usually if those computer dont share folder or are not on same lan you should be fine. Its always good to run firewall software on PC. You can get zonealarm which is a free firewall software which will prevent unwanted access of computer.
2) Use anti-virus software. Windows Live is a good service. It was free till recently you can try and remove the virus using that.
