Toshiba Satellite Laptop problem?

Question by superfriend17: Toshiba Satellite Laptop problem?
My friend recently tried connecting her laptop to a TV and immediately the laptop froze when she connected the video cable. She rebooted, and it would not load back up. The screen stays completely blank. It hasn’t worked since. My laptop went through the same video connection with no problems.
Any known problems/fixes for this?
Model Number: PSM30K-7108
Serial Number: 15049327H

Thanks for the help!

The TV thing is completely a coincidence and has NOTHING to do with the problem.

It’s totally coincidental.

The video is output, nothing comes IN to the laptop at all. (Assuming VGA or SVIDEO output)

That being said, More information is needed from you. As the real problem is “this laptop will not load back up” and need to describe that problem in detail. The TV detail is totally unrelated.

Though something that was done (on the laptop) when trying it might be the problem, but the simple act of connecting video OUTPUT to a TV will not do anything whatsoever on a laptop. Again, it’s output. Not input. Same thing, like connecting headphones or something.
