Air conditioning problem?

Question by CNW: Air conditioning problem?
My Amana portable air conditioner, turns on but it wont work, it flashes stop and makes several beeps, any idea how I can fix this?

Don’t know about portables???

Does it have a filter?–if so check it.
does it have a reset button?–reset it.
does it have a moisture reservoir? –empty it.
