Printing wirelessly using Win XP?
I would like to be able to print from my laptop which has a wireless connection to my desktop which has a printer hooked up to it. I haven’t been able to get this to work.

Are you using a router or do you want a direct to computer conneciton?
WIth a router, you just run the network setup wizard (on both machines) set the workgroup to the same name, set the file and printer sharing to ON, then go to the printer setup, right click and click “share printer”. Thats all it takes really.
Here is Microsofts help information.

With a router, wired or wireless, all machines are on the same network and all can share printers and files once setup.
If you don’t have a router, you have to have an AD-HOC system setup and then do the network setup. Little more difficult.
