Question by wild wild west 51: problem with my laptop computer its to slow?
ok my laptop has been reinstalled with windows vista home premium . it has no viruses and on start up when it comes on line the status bar is saying not responding constantly or it takes way to long to come on line and takes at least 5 minutes to shut down why?

mah man… Vista Home Premium needs at least 3 – 4 GB RAM (memory) to run at a decent clip depending on how many apps you have loaded and are running concurrently. Please upgrade to atleast 4GB and you will see the change.

Windows vista is a pretty heavy os. It takes time during start up and shut down. The possible reasons of your problem could be low RAM or a full hard disk. Upgrading your RAM could be a solution. Or go windows 7 its much faster.
