Question by lamichhane: laptop battery problem?
I have HP G50 112NR notebook PC. My laptop battery is completely damaged and not working anymore. It can’t store charge even 1%. And every 2-3 second it shows charging and discharging continuously and goes forever. can this charging and discharging cause problem in my laptop. I am afraid battery will explode.what to do? it’s safe to keep battery in laptop or remove. I haven’t bought replacement battery.

I would take the battery out/off the laptop and use the power supply only until you can get a replacement battery.
You wont damage your notebook if you leave the battery on and get the charging/discharging message every 2-3 seconds, but isn’t it a bit annoying? I wouldn’t want to see it at all.
I would spend the $ 106.00 and get a new battery for it.. I have the same notebook and had to replace my battery as well. The new battery will come with a 1yr warranty so if it dies again within that time, you get another one sent.
