The set assoc. is correct but none of my shortcuts will open. Please help

you have to tell your computer where the .exe file that launches the program is. these files are usually in the program files folder on your C: drive. when it asks you to specify the filepath, find the location of that .exe file (i.e. firefox.exe) in the menu and click enter.
