Do L shaped laptop power cords last longer than the straight ones?

Question by chenelle_rose: Do L shaped laptop power cords last longer than the straight ones?
I’ve had 3 different laptops, 1 had the L shaped cord and the other 2 had straight cords. Both straight cord laptops we had to send to the repair shop due to power cord problems several times, but didn’t have to send in the L shaped laptop.

Has nothing to do with the shape and everything to do with the quality (or how abusive you were to the cable).

    No they are about the same just be careful with the cord. If you put stress on the cord it will damage something.
