Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop- battery problem?

Question by chris banres: Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop- battery problem?
The problem being it wont charge more than 90% and when i take the lead connecting to the mains out, the laptop powers off instantly and wont turn on without it. any ideas? thanks

If the unit works correctly with the battery removed. The the battery is nearing the end of it’s service life

    Dell batteries blow. It’s dead! Buy another one but not from Dell if you can!

    i have the E1705 and your battery was recalled . you need to change the setting and set the power options . turn the % for the power warning indicator down to 10%
