Defective 85W power adapter charger by apple?

Seriously… I’ve exchanged THREE apple 85w power adapters within the past week in a half, and they all turned out to be defective in some way or another. The first two were working for about a day, then all of a sudden didn’t work. The third one didn’t show a light at all, obviously signaling it doesn’t work. It’s not an issue with my electrical outlets, I know that for sure. So do you guys think it’s the charger that’s defective, or my laptop? (Macbook Pro)
and do you know how to fix this problem? Thanks! :)

Both of them are the same, just the pictures are different.
I would say its the chargers. Perhaps all they do with them is restock them and you keep getting the same one you gave them a few days ago.

Do your research before buying this adapter. If you have a pre-unibody MacBook Pro (mine is summer 2008), this adapter is completely incompatible. Like hooking your MacBook up to a stone.
