working right anymore; and everytime I get on, it keeps cutting off on
Me; whenever I turn it on; to log onto windows; you see I have an
Compaq Evo NC800; Windows XP Home Edition and the AVG software
Isn’t updated anymore; my Linskey’s Wireless Network Card and the
Charger battery isn’t working; I think it’s the charger battery; or the

You could try to reinstall Windows. That won’t help the power issue though

I would buy a battery for it, and if it doesn’t work you can return it. It is cheaper in all cases to get a new battery then a new computer.
Try these
IF you can Disconnect the router and plug the computer directly into the modem
Take the battery out and start the laptop with only the power cord.
Does it work? Does it connect to the internet?
This should help you trouble shoot your problem.
