How do I fix my laptop? Green Video display on youtube videos (driver problem)?

Question by Nyx: How do I fix my laptop? Green Video display on youtube videos (driver problem)?
I just got a new laptop, an Acer Aspire TimelineX, and I have had trouble with watching videos, particularly youtube. Most of the time, when I hit play, the laptop will freeze for a couple of seconds and then display the video as a green screen (like this image http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/imagehosting/49044bda37dfe5ac8.jpg), but will play the audio perfectly fine. Then I’ll get a notification at the bottom of my screen saying something similar to, “Display driver has stopped working, but has recovered.” Sometimes if I refresh the screen the video will then work fine or sometimes instead of freezing the computer will just crash instead. I was wondering what was wrong or how I can fix it. I have the adobe flash needed to play videos installed, other than that I really haven’t done anything to my laptop. Thanks.
I’m currently using Google Chrome.

make sure you’re not using internet explorer 64. adobe flash is not compatible with 64 bit systems so videos will not play also, try updating your video drivers from your device manager.
