Question by Kitty: Can a laptop case be repaired? The lid won’t stay open unless I hold it up. ?
It is an HP Pavilion, has anyone had similar problems? I guess the spring thing that made it stiff and made the lid stand up has broken and it just drops back closed. I’m keeping it open with a velcro strap for now.

yes you need to replace them – will probably involve replacing the whole bezel – check eBay you might get one for a few bucks
