I have Dell 1420 laptop and I want to purchase another 3 years of warranty, but my laptop currently have a hardware failure. So what do I have to do, do I have to get my laptop repair first before purchasing the warranty?

Hi,
Best thing to do is to first buy a warranty and then make it repair.
Why? Because if you do the opposite will make you pay more money, if you get the warranty first you will pay less to repair it because you will already have the warranty.
But if you do the opposite : first you will pay for the repair service and then you will have to add the cost of the warranty making it much more expensive.
