Question by d connector: how can i download Anti-virus from the internet on a desktop computer into m y laptop that is not on internet?
my laptop is infected with virus. my laptop is not connected to the net but m y desktop computer is connected to the net. i don’t have money now to buy an anti-virus but i need to clean my laptop off the virus

go with AVG or Avast. Download to your desktop. Take the installed icon burn it to a cd or USB flash drive . Then copy it to the desktop of the laptop and double click on it and install it. With avast you can download the updates from the website. You would do the same thing with the updates. (copy to the laptop) Then run a scan.
use the cable that connects your computer to the internet and connect it to the laptop thats what i did and then download it

If you have a CD burner on your desktop then you can burn Damage Cleanup to a CD and then put it on your laptop and run it.

Try this its guaranteed to work (After your done downloading all these programs save it to a blank cd assuming you don’t have some sort of a usb flash drive) Find where you downloaded the files to. Then move them to a folder. then move that folder to the empty disc by right clicking then “send to” the empty disc. then go to my computer then to the empty disc and then burn it. after that shoot it into your pc a let the magic begin=)

Now restart your computer twice to ensure all or most of the programs have been properly installed. Make sure to update all these programs everyday. Now that you have updated all your programs go turn off your computer. Now hold on F8 right after you turn on your computer and that will bring you to the menu to go to safe mode. Udate your antivirus and scan your coputer in safe mode. After you remove virus, I recommend you use firefox browser. It is safer than IE. It can prevent viruses such as worm,trojan and etc. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com
